Welp, yesterday I turned 36 years old. I am not feeling any older, honestly I am not that phased by it right now. I am too preoccupied with my pregnancy, which is going great by the way. I am getting my second Moderna COVID-19 on Friday of this week. I am hoping I don’t get MORE sick than I got with the first shot. I felt pretty lousy when I got the first shot last month, but after a day of feeling like crap, I started to feel better.
I spent the day doing NOTHING. And I loved it. Today my mother came over and cut my hair for me, I haven’t had a hair cut in over 2 years….half of that time was due to COVID. The other half was just due to me being a person who doesn’t get a hair cut but once a year. Not sure if it’s the best hair cut ever but it will do.
My husband went out and got me a smothered burrito for my birthday dinner. Why a burrito? I am pregnant and craving it. I don’t eat a bunch of my cravings all the time so I told him I wanted that, at least. He bought me my favorite cake and we have been enjoying it all weekend/week.
Other than that information, I have nothing new to share. I see my dr next week for my monthly and I see the high risk dr at the end of the month for my anatomy scan. We are waiting for my daughter’s new bunk bed to be delivered on April 1st. And then we will transition her to a big girl bed so we can prepare her room for the baby. Yes she will be sharing her room eventually. But we want to make sure to have it ready when the baby arrives in the summer.
Any tips on transitioning a toddler to a big bed? It’s been so long since we transitioned my son.
